Graduated in Medicine from the University of São Paulo (1989) and PhD in Urology by Johannes Gutenberg Universität Mainz (1996), associate professor at UNIFESP (2001). Visiting Professor UCSF- USA, Hebrew University- Israel and Temple Univ USA, `top-ten` reviewer of JPU in 2011. Assistant editor JPU since 2012, member of the editorial board Journal of Urology. Trained 29 fellows in pediatric urology, mentored 2 masters and 21 doctors degree. President of CACAU (NGO to support pediatric urology)
